Mr. Riesberg specializes in investigation
and design of repairs to distressed buildings and provides consulting
services to other design professionals for specifications and envelope
technology. He has investigated thousands of buildings for water
infiltration, accessibility, habitability, structural and life and fire safety deficiencies.
This experience brings valuable expertise to the team that is without
equal in the region. His knowledge of building envelope technology,
industry standards, and codes enhance the team's skill to diagnose
construction deficiencies and recommend corrective measures of high
quality and durability.
Mr. Riesberg's expertise is in the preparation of construction documents has been recognized nationally by the Construction Specifications Institute. He has won three Honor Awards and two Honorable Mentions in their annual Specifications Competition. These are the highest awards given in the construction industry for contract document preparation. He has been a Certified Construction Specifier since 1983. In addition, he has received numerous awards for his service to the industry and for design. He was advanced to Fellow of the Construction Specifications Institute - the Institute's second highest award to be bestowed. He is a co-recipient of the American Institute of Architect Honor Award for his work with W. G. Clark on Middleton Inn.
Mr. Riesberg is a Former President and Lifetime Member of the Construction Specifications Institute. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is a registered Architect in South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama, Kansas, and Virginia. He is certified by the National Council of Architect Registration Boards (NCARB) and is a Certified Construction Specifier. |
